The factory-based production of precast concrete components has revolutionised traditional construction methods, shifting labour-intensive and repetitive tasks from the construction site to the factory. Leveraging the standardised and modular nature of precast elements, factories have implemented scientifically optimised production processes. These processes utilise mechanised and automated production lines to enhance labour efficiency and reduce construction time.

Mana Precast Elements Production Line

Mana's Precast component production line employs a cyclic automated assembly line. Pallets circulate along the line, undergoing the following processes:

  • Pallet cleaning: Thoroughly clean pallets and apply release agents.

  • Plotting: Draw the outlines of the concrete elements on the cleaned pallet mould surface.

  • Placing shutters: Positioning of the shutters.

  • Reinforcement placement: Placement of reinforcement mesh.

  • Embedment placement: Installing embedments.

  • Pouring and compacting concrete: Pouring and compacting concrete.

  • Finishing: Smoothing the concrete surface.

  • Curing: Cure components in the curing chamber.

  • Removing the shutters: Remove the shutters and tilt the components.

  • Component storage: Store components in the storage area.

  • This production line can produce shear walls, double walls, and solid wall panels.

Production Line Features

  • Workshop area: 120m x 15m = 1,800 square metres

  • Control system: Semi-automatic or fully automatic controls; minimal labour, reduced human error, and high expandability.

  • Efficient operation: Simple and efficient operating procedures.

  • Automated shuttering and deshuttering: Improved work efficiency.

  • Curing chamber: Ensures high insulation, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness.

  • Reduced investment: Significantly reduces overall investment costs.

  • Standardised design: Modular design for easy installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Key Equipment

  • Pallets: Flat platforms for casting precast components.

  • Pallet cleaner: Cleans pallets of concrete residue.

  • Side-shifters: Transports pallets horizontally.

  • Release agent sprayer: Applies release agents.

  • Plotter: Draws the outlines of the concrete elements on the pallet.

  • Concrete spreader: Distributes concrete evenly.

  • Compaction equipment: Compacts the concrete on the pallet.

  • Smoothing equipment: Smooths the surface of the elements.

  • Curing chamber: Cures the pallets to the required strength.
