Technical Discussions on Modular Housing Moulds with Our Turkish Partners

Following an earlier visit by the ÖNCÜ PREFABRİK team, Mr. Hasan and Mr. Murat Doğruoğlu visited Mana Precast on September 11, 2026, to continue discussions on a two-storey modular housing project in Türkiye.

The visit focused on the technical requirements of the moulds and the practical considerations for the production process.

Continuing the Technical Discussion

At the time of the visit, the project was at the quotation and technical discussion stage, with moulds for modular housing units as the main focus.

The teams reviewed several key aspects of the mould design, including structural rigidity, hydraulic operation, dimensional adjustment and stripping.

The mould concept incorporates 10 mm-thick steel mould plates to provide the required rigidity for the application. The side forms are hydraulically operated, while the corner sections can retract to facilitate stripping.

The mould is designed to allow adjustment in length, width and height to accommodate different module dimensions. The design also allows the concrete walls to be formed without draft angles, supporting the required geometry of the modular units.

An integrated vibration system is included to support concrete placing and consolidation. The mould is designed for approximately 2,000 casting cycles, subject to proper operation and maintenance.

Visiting the Mana Precast Facility

During the visit, Mr. Hasan and Mr. Murat Doğruoğlu toured our production facilities and discussed the mould design and production requirements with the Mana Precast team.

The visit provided an opportunity to review the mould concept from both manufacturing and production perspectives and to further clarify the technical requirements for the next stage.
