Welcome to Mana Precast
On May 14, 2026, Mana Precast Machinery welcomed a distinguished delegation from New Zealand, led by Dr. Willy Morrell, Managing Director and renowned industry expert. The visit focused on in-depth technical discussions and an on-site factory inspection of high-precision precast concrete mould systems, with particular attention to precast fence panels and retaining wall mould solutions suitable for the Oceania market.

The visiting delegation represents a long-established family-owned civil engineering group in New Zealand, with nearly a century of operational history. The company is engaged in civil construction, quarrying, concrete production, and aggregate supply, and holds extensive experience in infrastructure development within the local market.
Dr. Morrell’s objective for this international visit was to identify technologically advanced and reliable precast concrete steel mould suppliers capable of meeting New Zealand’s stringent engineering standards and long-term durability requirements.
Accompanied by Mana’s technical and international sales team, Dr. Morrell and his delegation conducted a detailed tour of our manufacturing facilities, with a focus on our core product range—precast fence panel mould systems.
During the visit, we presented two main technical solutions:
Manual mechanical opening and locking mould systems
Hydraulic automatic opening and locking mould systems
Special attention was given to production solutions for both solid and hollow precast wall panels. A comprehensive comparison was provided, covering:
Production efficiency
Operational methods
Maintenance requirements
Application scenarios
The manual mould system was highly appreciated for its practical design and operational advantages, including:
Lower initial investment cost
Simple and intuitive operation
Easy maintenance and servicing
High structural stability under demanding working conditions
Suitable for small to medium-scale production or decentralized manufacturing setups
The hydraulic mould system is designed for large-scale and highly efficient production environments, featuring:
Fully hydraulic opening and locking mechanisms
Higher production efficiency and automation level
Ideal for standardized and high-volume manufacturing
Higher requirements for operational precision and process control
Following a comprehensive technical comparison and evaluation, Dr. Morrell expressed strong appreciation for Mana’s manual mechanical mould system.
He noted that, based on current production scale and operational conditions in New Zealand, the manual system offers significant advantages in terms of practicality and reliability.
Key highlights included:
Simple operation and ease of training
Robust mechanical structure with long-term stability
Reliable locking system ensuring consistent dimensional accuracy
Extremely low maintenance requirements
Strong alignment with practical and cost-efficient production needs
We further demonstrated that the system is fully capable of producing both:
Hollow precast wall panels
Solid precast wall panels
In addition, panel length and surface pattern designs are highly flexible, allowing adaptation to different project requirements and regional market standards. This ensures strong versatility for diverse applications in infrastructure and boundary wall systems.
We sincerely thank Dr. Willy Morrell and his delegation for visiting Mana Precast Machinery during their trip to Zhengzhou.
This visit not only strengthened mutual understanding of our technologies and application scenarios but also laid a solid foundation for potential future cooperation.
Mana remains committed to providing efficient, durable, and reliable precast concrete mould solutions for the New Zealand and wider Oceania markets, and we look forward to further technical collaboration and project-based partnerships in the future.
